Three Steps to Reaching Your Personal Development Goals

assistance

Stop wasting your time wondering why your attempts to reach your personal goals fail time and time again.  Stop kicking yourself for letting the positive results you achieved in the past fall to the wayside (i.e. gaining back weight you lost, going back into debt after getting out, etc.).  Follow my lead and start taking responsibility for your failures, and use the challenges in your life to open new and exciting doors of opportunity.

This blog merges personal development with the concept of organization to achieve positive, lasting changes in life.  I created the S.O.S. system to help you (and me ;) ) with our individual personal development plans, learning how to get organized in order to realize these goals.

Discover the 3-step process of organizing your way to personal development:

  1. Simplify
  2. Organize
  3. Streamline

Each step brings us closer to our goals, and teaches us how to maintain our successes:

Let me briefly break down each step of the S.O.S. system as outlined in the above diagram.

Simplify

We simplify to purge and eliminate anything that we either don’t want, don’t need, or that hinders our progress.

Organize

Here we outline our plan of action, and make any necessary preparations that will facilitate the process.

Streamline

Streamlining builds the routines we need to sustain our accomplishments.  It entails practicing our goals until  they become habits and automatic responses to everyday life. Throughout this step we need to constantly evaluate our progress to implement the changes necessary to propel us toward our goals.

Apply the “S.O.S. Your Life” concept to any area of personal growth, and launch your own campaign  to live your best life.

Take a peek at just some of the topics we will be exploring:

  • Health
  • Success
  • Relationships
  • Self Esteem
  • Balance
  • Organization at Home
  • Business and Finances
  • Parenting

The S.O.S. system is not a quick fix for anyone’s life, nor is it a one-size-fits-all plan.  However, positive, lasting change is only 3 steps away if you grab these tools and clear your path success.

Interesting article.

Many people tend to forget about this “personal development” side on their lives, or goal setting but I believe it is one of the very important aspect one should keep in mind before starting doing anything.

Without this you may miss out in achieving many things in your life!

Thanks, Salwa! I agree. Many people don’t see organization as having anything to do with personal development. But to achieve true growth, we must organize ourselves and set goals.

Hi,
nice original way of writing about achieving goals! I would also add: do one thing at a time, get rid of distractions and set deadlines:)

Cheers
